Aye folks ... Hope everyone is doin well
Here's a couple of pics of things Ive made and a burl bowl that Im working on at the moment . Will post more as I go.

Oh yea Al. I sure like the look and the handles idea for the completed bowl and love the look of that burl. Looks like coral to me and I'll bet it will be beautiful.

It's a kuksa. Tradiitional Lapland design. Very cool!!!

So a kuksa can have either a single handle or a double?

I have seen a wide variety of handles on these. Not sure where the line is drawn for "traditional"

The wee bowl is my attempt at making a Quaich (Scottish drinking cup) They are mostly made of Puter or silver but I thought I would have a go at making one out of Rowan (Mountian Ash)

Thankyou lass . The wee bowl was just an Idea for making a bigger one (which i will get to in timelol)
Im glad ye like it it was fun to make and was a test for my new hookknife .

Nice work all around! And I love the burl work..those burls give such beautiful wood...hard as heck to work, but well worth the effort!
