these are a couple of re-purposed spindle Clauses during a recent flea market trip i picked up a handful of these for a quarter apiece , not sure what they are off of a bed or what. so i did a couple of different santa ornaments painted with acrylics i painted just the face and the decorative antique white strip with the holly leaves and berries and left the rest of the spindle the color and finish it was already. bad photo due to using my phone my regular camera was dead.

Nice looking santas Daddio, I have a couple I need to try. Clicked on your WCI site and got an invalid notice but did go to your etsy site and have to say you have some nice carvings there also. Really like your wood spirits -
