Here's my next project,drew the picture up on Sat.2/5/06 and roughed in the details this morning.I'll post the project as I go along.It's a
bed time Santa.

santa was some of the impression on

Santa was carved from a 2 3/4"x 2 3/4"x 5 1/2" piece of basswood.

Mark that is going to be one amazing Santa I saw your last project and I was very impressed I am sure that this one will be just as good. Being a Santa collector I cant wait to see the finished product.

Really looks nice. I agree with an earlier comment - very crisp, clean lines and cuts so early in the process....very impressive.

The shape and proportion of the head and face is really nice. You should do a step by step for us!

Great work and fast, too! One question - do you use hand tools or a rotary shaping device like a dremel or foredom?
