Hi Folks: Well I get to the end of one project and as always I can't come up with a base. So while Iam thinking about it I decided to bandsaw out another horse head. My first ones I didn't leave enough wood for a big flowing mane. This one I did. I am going to keep carving horses untill I get good at it then I'LL switch to something else. Hope everyone is doing well.

Are you obsessed with horses or perfectionist ?
I wouldn't have cut the spikes from the beginning, but remembering the two previous ones, I bet you will get something nice.Comment

Hi Ginny: Its a 3X12X24 Piece of poplar I have lots of it stacked up in an out building. Going to try to use it up and then get something else maybe maple.
Hey Copeau: I dont really like horses. My family members have some but I dont. When I was 6 or 7 years old I would stay at my grandfathers farm. He always had horses and mules to work the farm He would always say dont get behind them they will kick you. Dont get in front they'll bite you dont get beside them they'll step on you. So I guess it just stayed with me. Now I am thinking what can I carve to make a little extra money
That voice in my head says horses so thats where Iam at. Lots of rich horse farms here.
After I get a room full of them I'll try to sell some. Oh by the way that was a cool ray.Comment
