Those are wonderful. I do the same = marathon or nothing. I still have one mess to clean up. For my kitchen sticks, after sanding, the branding and oven baking usually go 24 at a time. Not complicated like you painting but a chore, anyway.

All of them are nice carvings and very well done. I always lean towards the little guys.

No, Ginny, I've seen your mass of carvings on your videos and I don't want more to paint! Thank you for the offer though...

Nomad - The phoenix goes to my youngest grandson and the dragon goes to my oldest grandson. The farmer was sitting around looking lonely, so I added the haystack and pitchfork. Wish I could do a good metal pitchfork, but that is something I'll learn later.

The local high school mascot is a Pirate, so I'm working on a pirate that is turning out to be a little above my ability. But it will get finished; just won't look as good as it could.

Great job of painting and the carving is sweet. My favorites are the second dragon and the farmer with the pitchfork. That's a nice bunch of little guys too. You HAVE been busy!

Wow, you have been busy. You want more to paint ? I have a couple of big carvings almost ready for the paint table.
Those are GREAT. I must say I love everyone of them. Ginny

I save things until I feel like painting and I just finished a marathon of painting. These are from patterns or Woodcarving Illustrated. I did the small items just because I happened to have a 1" by 1" by 12" stick that was what the author called for. Hope you like them. They were all fun to make.

PS: Well, I can't rotate them to show correctly either. Guess this new Windows 8 has another problem.
