Decrative spoons make nice raffle

Last year at our local carving show, Genesee Valley Wood Carvers, I donated a love spoon that was well received. For next years show I just completed this one. From Shirley Adlers book Carving Decrative love spoons. The spoon is carved in sycamore and the base for it is mahogany. I used a very small screw to attach it to the base.

I've never carved a love spoon, but that is a nice piece, looks really good.
