Rainy day project (Gnome home)

Lot's of rain today in South Georgia so decided to try the bark I received from Elwood Troll.

I have never carved Cotton Wood bark before, wow! It is alot easier than carving a Cedar log. The last house I made was from a found pc of cedar.

Kind of fun just sitting down and seeing what you end up with.

Now for the finish......

nice looking peice you have there. bark is fun to carve although i have not carved any in quite awhile. keep up the good work and keep the chips flying

Wish it was warm enough to rain here abouts....good day to spend in the shop. -27C with wind chill. My hands shake too much from the cold to carve. Wish the dog would learn to walk herself on some days!

I do miss the snow though, for about a mili-second, but I do miss it.Sad
