That's an awesome piece, Lynn, absolutely AWESOME!
Hehehe....eye wash used to be boric acid and distilled (or well) water, but nowadays the stuff comes in a little dropper bottle called Visine or such. By the way I still have an eye wash cup in my medicine chest. Kinda nostalgic more than functional, though. If memory serves me right, Gram always added just a touch of witch hazel, that magical elixer that fixed almost everything from hives to canker sores, to upset stomach....well you get the idea.

Good work as always Lynn, like the subtle color changes. Just out of curiosity, when you have the completed carving in front of you, how do you decide on your pallette for the piece?When I cut myself, I bleed sawdust!
