Nice carvings, Ginny. I haven't seen you post many carvings recently, so it's nice to see what you've been up to. Lovely work as always.

I let too much time lapse before painting my last bunch of carvings, so I plan to paint once I have two carvings in the queue. Painting five or seven carvings at a time isn't much fun for me; I prefer a shorter turn at the painting table.

Hey Ginny, I've been watching your progress since you joined the board and I am mightily impressed with your improvement. Although I am not into caricatures per se, I can see the skills employed in your pieces, so congrats and keep up the great carving.

Good job on the Coal Miner. I hope the painting of the body turns out as nice as the head and hat. The next two are nice but a little heavy with the sandpaper. The body of the last one could use some more work.

The boots? Send them back to the shoe repair shop.....you can do better! If you have a pair set them on the counter to refer to. You won't be sorry!

Hope this wasn't too critical. You know I mean it in the most constructive way.
