First go With the Pfeil Tools

As you know my wife bought me a medium set of Pfeil chisels for my birthday which is next Sunday the 23rd. Anyway I couldn't wait till then to try them out so this is from another tutorial from Arlene on You Tube. I must admit they are beautiful to control and are a wonderful gift that I'm sure will give me years of use and pleasure. How lucky am I. Hope you like it.

Happy Birthday, Peter (on the 23rd). The new Pfeil tools will certainly make this a memorable celebration.
My first experience with Pfeil gouges was a single tool I bought in Switzerland - a #3-12mm. When I got home I applied it to a large piece (7.5 x 4 feet) and was impressed! Of course this led to other gouges - I sincerely hope you enjoy wood carving.

Happy Birthday Peter. Pfeil carving tools are wonderful. I learned that after buying some others.
BTW, very clean carving. Size? Wood?

Looks like the Pfiel gouges work well, your carving turned out great. Pfiels are very good tools, I have one and really like it. Happy Birthday when it gets here.

You have great tools, learn to maintain them and take good care of them, they will last you a lifetime and then somebody else a lifetime. Good carving.
