    I carved the soldiers from cypres knees. Twenty years ago.I used paint strait from the bottle. I wanted gray but it turned out blue. I wish I would have known about basswood back then. it sure is easier to carve.

        Pretty darn good, Arnold! Especially for twenty years ago.
        It seems ironic for them to turn out blue, but we are all united now.

              Tom the one with the cap is 13''
              The one holding up the hat is 14" witout the hat. I lost the hat.
