Rudolph and his posse

This is not entirely carved, mostly sawed and sanded, but I thought I could share it with you all! The gifts where all cut out of styrofoam and painted. Santa is made of "Super Sculpey" lightly carved, sanded, and painted. I hope everyone has a safe and Merry Xmass.

That is a fun scene. Super Sculpey is great stuff. It takes a different mind set to add material instead of take it away as with wood.

I started playing with clay when I was 7 or 8, I loved being able to make any character I could dream up. I have some clay in my closet to this day that I'll take out and mess around with to get ideas for carving.
