~~ A Dollhouse for Miss Kellie ~~

A couple weeks ago, the Misses and I were at a Garage Sale and came upon a neglected and unfinished Dollhouse. I\\\\\\\'ve had this notion to build one for the granddaughter so I haggled my way into this one. It was BLUE, not PINK as she wished so I did a remodel in pink, including lots of trim work, painting, carpeting and linolium. Most of the furniture we had from previous projects (1 1/2th scale)
It took over 100 hours of time and a bit of cash (afraid to tally it up), this is the final result. What a gift for a 4 year old. All she could say was : You\\\\\\\'re the BEST Grandpa, you\\\\\\\'re the Best !!

That is SO neat! I love the fish on the wall, nice touch. And the family photo. Amazing how much time you can tie up in one of these. I have been working on mine for five years. It is not pink and cute like yours though, really nice work!

I like the addition of the doghouse, that\'s great.

She will have this for a long time to come.

The white with pink trim is much nicer! The family portraits really blew me away! Is that your granddaughter?
