Another shop project finished.

I made myself a list of things I wanted to do in my new shop this summer and one of them was rebuilding the Copy Carve by ED Walicki that I built a couple years ago. It is a poor man CNC machine. The principle worked well, but I did not have the control of the stock I wanted so.
I added to the bed, installed T-Track, built new tail pieces with live centers, and worked up a new head piece.

That is like some kind of mad genius contraption!
Maybe consider doing a video of this thing in action.

Those who know me, raise their eyebrows at my mind wanderings . James I will probably be putting it to work this fall and I will do some picture, not able to do videos

Just saw this thread. I have no idea how that contraption works but it has a kind of Steampunk thing going on. LOL! Would love to see a video of this thing in action.
