The requuired \\\'16 Christmas carving done

As some of you might know, each year for Christmas, I carve seven of the same things to give to the kid and one for us. I like to get these out of the way early; thereby, giving me the rest of the year to do what I want without any pressure. I been busy build some knife sharping jigs to use with my TomZ. So it was good to get back to carving. Got a couple of things on tap right now, but I am sure my time will fill up.

I belive this patter came from WCI, not sure. these were carved from basswood 4inch x 4 inch, painted with acrylic paint. on each piece the santa is on one side and the turkey is on the other. Two for one

Thanks for looking & commenting Kadidle. Actually I had another carving started with 15 min. Since i retired, I am so busy I can not get anything done. . Right now I have two things I want to get carved before the new WCI comes out. They were showing what they were going to have in the next issue and I want to try an carve the the old rodeo hand.

It took me a minute or two to realize that Santa is on one side and the turkey on the other. Very clever idea and a great job. It/they look terrific.
