Ha, bet that got your attention Can you guys believe this? I still can't. I have been asked, by Hugh Hefner's assistant, Barbara Leigh (actress), to do a bust of Hugh Hefner for his birthday! Guess she thinks if I can do animals I can do anything. I will! A lot of research and studying will go into this one for sure. I wanted a tag of "wildlife" artist, guess this would fit the catagory?Cool

Nancy when I first read this post I though you were going to tell us that they wanted you to pose for the centerfold. Yes you certainly got me interested with the heading. Wow that is fantastic what a feather in your cap. I can see it now they wont stop at a bust of Hugh next thing we know we will have a new catagory " Playboy centerfolds". Just keep me in mind if you have to go to the mansion to for a study cast you will need a bodyguard and that I have been a bodyguard for many a celebrity including Vana White, Shania Twain so I definatly meet the qualifications. I would even pay my own way out there.Only because I am a nice guy.

                    Re: Playboy

You guys are too much Colin, you got the job if I must go there. Actually last night while discussing the project with Barbara, I said that the one thing I would really like to get out of this is that the carving gets into Playboy. Before I got that out of my mouth, she said "You want to go to one of his partys?" Not me!!! I've attached a photo of a painting of him he had done and really likes (bet he likes all his photos). SHE also sent me a photo of HER that was done from a photo shoot she had in the mag, BUT, you guys don't want to see that.

Doug &Tony: Okay, heres the rest of the story. My husband has Graves Disease, he was on a Graves Support Board and met Dianne there. His brother had been widowed for several years and my husband told him about Dianne, thinking they would hit it off. They did, have been married for about 10 years now. So Dianne continued with the Support Group and Barbara Leigh came on there because she now has Graves. They hit it off and started visiting back and forth. I met her (Barbara) through Dianne. Barbara has seen my carvings and thought a carving of "Hef" would be the ultimate 80th birthday gift. Okay, I'm going to post her photo, BUT, I put clothes on her
