Thank you.. Ron and Gene. I did this cane for a girlfriend of mine two years ago. She gave it to her son for Christmas. Since then, they've mentioned it to me many times and how they really enjoy using it still.

Use a small gouge and scale the cheeks to the nose area , I think it will give you what you want

Here he is with the eyes in place.

It needs something under the eyes or down the nose... Any suggestions? Its not sealed yet.. so I can still work with it.

Marci, I really like your dragon. Ash has inspired several I'm sure. I do like the idea of mounting red eyes in the wood. Please show us pictures after you do that.

That's are very nice stick. You can definitely see that it is a dragon. The red eyes will be impressive when they're mounted.
