Covered Bridge Pictures (NEW)

Here are some new pictures of the covered bridge I am working on. The reason I am posting is I think I have it in pretty good shape. So I need your help to tell me what I need to do yet. I know I need to sand and such but I am not sure how much if any carving I need to do just by feel.

Ron- i have never tried a relief carving,so I really can't comment.
But I have been following your progress,and I can only state outstanding.

Rom, You know I am not a relief carver either but I was wondering if the top of the clouds should be a little softer (rounder). Don't get me wrong my friend, Excellent work for sure and still I am amazed at your abilities.

Wow! Whew! Beautiful! I don't know what else to say, I'd be repeating myself! Has anybody told you that your carving is getting better and better by leaps and bounds? Very nicely done! I like it all just like it is! Whew!

First I'd like to say this is a great piece! I have to go against the grain though concerning the clouds. I like them the way they are. They give the scene a dramatic look. If I were doing this I probably would have chumped out on the composition. They eyes are drawn along the road, through the covered bridge and end at the clouds admittedly drawing the focus away from the bridge (temporarily) BUT IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY

I agree with Elwood Ron, the clouds are very iimpressive as they are.. That was the first thing I noticed with your first pictures .. How impressive the clouds are. It's beautiful and you are amazing.. Charlotte
