  • Finished Stylized Walnut Eagle

I think the thought out Band Saw Cuts to start was the reason . That took it to a Rough out and removed a lot of unwanted Wood . Was all done with Power Tools . The Grooves in the Wings were the most difficult . Burnt the Lines Deep to make it easier to follow with Power Tools, and that worked. Finished with 5 coats of Poly U Satin and Lite coat of Wax . After it was finished it looked to me like a Hood Ornament on an Antique Car . This Piece was the Last for 2020 and the First for 2021 . Merle

            Stunning Merle, That came out fantastic. Looks much bigger than 7”. Love the look of the Black Walnut.
            If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

              Hi Tom , I didn't notice the first # is missing in my Message , your right it is bigger than 7 ", it's 11 "< Tall . This Computer Fights me at times . I think this Piece of Walnut came close to the Knot in my big Chunk of Walnut , no Hand Tools , I tried . I thank You My Friend . Merle
