Hi Brian , hey don't knock my Layer of Dust in my Shop , that's my Rust Prevention Plan . Ha,Ha. I have a Dust Collector , Pro-Craft # 759 A . that cares of my small Shop . Does using your Shop Vac keep you shop fairly clean ? Again my suggestion is for someone that needs an inexpensive Dust Mask that might not be using any . Thanks Brian for you input . Merle

Hi Ed , I have one similar to yours , but I carve holding my Piece on my Stomach and can't see to Carve . I used it when running my Sander and it works fine except when I take it off Condensation and Sweat is on the inside . I'm not suggesting for anyone to stop using the Mask that works for them I'm saying that this is an Option if your not using one or looking for a Better one to try . My Dust Bee Gone looks the same as when I bought it , but the Fine Dust found it's way up my Nose so thought I'de give this one a try , so far does the Job . Thanks for sharing your Thoughts . Merle

I use the same dust mask as Ed (above). It also has some charcoal canisters that can go between the mask and the pink filters to filter out fumes when working with paints/epoxies/solvents/etc.

What do you do with the dust hanging in the shop air? That's my concern.

Plus, I can't stand everything in a shop under a layer of dust that should have been collected.
I use a plaster fines bag in my ShopVac. Run times are maybe 10 minutes, 15 at the most.

Sound like you found a new favorite. My dust mask kind of old school but hard to beat the seal.

    started a topic Dust Masks

    Dust Masks

By no means am I selling these Masks , but feel it's worth mentioning about them . I have used Dust bee gone Mask for about 15 years and now it's about worn out . When seeing Copper Fit Advertisement on TV I thought it might be good for Power Carving to keep out the Dust . Got my order today and tried it and to my surprise it works great . I bought 10 for the Price of the Dust Bee Gone . When removed it hangs around your Neck , so always available when needed again . Oh, my Glasses didn't Fog up either . The down side is the Service , it Sucks , it took a little over a Month to get mine . Just thought I would show another use for the Masks that we are to use and make Carving a little more Enjoyable . OH! It's Washable . Merle
