I thought I'd try a little woodburning. Up until now, I've only used my burner to highlight my carvings and to put my mark on them. This is a wolf from a Sue Walters book. It's on a poplar board. I have a lot to learn but I enjoyed doing it.

Well Joe, it looks like a wolf, so that would sure make me happy. This will let us know how much of an artist you truly are.If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Thanks for the nice comments, I'm not sure I deserve them but the encouragement is nice. I have to say that I enjoy carving more but am glad I tried burning and will surely do more of it. I just completed a couple of portraits and will post them when the finish dries.Joe
