  • Wolf

I thought I'd try a little woodburning. Up until now, I've only used my burner to highlight my carvings and to put my mark on them. This is a wolf from a Sue Walters book. It's on a poplar board. I have a lot to learn but I enjoyed doing it.

Well Joe, it looks like a wolf, so that would sure make me happy. This will let us know how much of an artist you truly are.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

You've done a fine job on that wolf Joe. Most people don't realize how much hidden talent they have until they step outside their comfort zone.

Thanks for the nice comments, I'm not sure I deserve them but the encouragement is nice. I have to say that I enjoy carving more but am glad I tried burning and will surely do more of it. I just completed a couple of portraits and will post them when the finish dries.
