  • Wooden vase as pen/pencils holder

These are pieces of lime tree branches, which have been emptied in order to have a sort of vase as pen/pencil holder. On them, I pyrographed some figures of my cavalry regiment "Cavalleggeri di Lodi": 1. An officer of 1859 wearing a kepì with horsetail; 2. An officer from 1890 wearing a bearskin headgear (like the Brit busby) with add-on feather; 3. An officer in the colonial uniform from 1911 wearing a pith helmet; 4. and 5. the crest of the regiment: the Eagle of Tuscany.
