  • WIP Last Supper

    Hi Folks,

Here's a peek at a new joint project with my partner Eveny.
As you can see we both take turns at it.
Tools used: Razertip burner(for details) + soldering iron (for shading large patches)

    Will keep you updated.

      Hi, Conrad and Eveny!

I think that is very interesting, doing a joint project. I haven't tried that yet. But it looks like fun. I think I could use an extra set of eyes and hands on some pieces.

It's looking great! Can't wait to see the finished piece. Love the composition.

Good to see you posting again. Haven't seen ya for awhile. Make sure you post the finished piece. We will be watching for it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

      Blessings!

May I ask your technique? The texture looks stippled, is it?

                  Hi Pol,

I do the shading on low heat (around 5 on the Razertip) and with small parallel lines about 1cm in length. These are drawn perpendicular to the wood grain. The lines are done very close together so you dont see the gaps. The stippling effect comes from the grain of the wood.
