Permanent pens

I got some silver solder the other day and wanted make some permanent pens. I found out you need a really hot flame source to melt this silver solder. I don't have acetylene outfit. I noticed in Lowes the other day they had a small outfit that used map gas and oxygen. It didn't give a heat range. What are you guys using to solder the tips on with.

I just use one of the refillable butane torches to solder my bandsaw blades.

Thanks I thought of that but wasn't sure if it would get hot enough, now i know.
