Silver soilder

I trying to make some removable tips for my pens. I have some EXCEL silver soilder . I put some regular flux on the nichrome wire and it just rolls off like water on a ducks back. Now I know you have to use a certain type of flux on silver. Can anybody help me out here?

Yep, ya need the same type used for brazing.....give me a mionute and I'll get you a brand name.

You can find small containers of brazing flux at auto supply or welding supply shops.

I donno, Dave, I had a nice clean cat. I threw her in the mud and it soilder.

Ya Ya I know about the spelling, I'm really Fa*t smeller, Gageated in the bottom of clas!
