I continue to be amazed by what you folks can do with woodburning! I'm still trying to improve my skills at carving and hope to try this someday. Very nice job!

Before they slip me over the standing part of the fore sheet, let them pipe: "Up Spirits" one more time.

I did not know that a wood burning could look that good! Very nice work.

I ordered a burner on December 12th and it has still not arrived.... I hope to join the ranks of wood burner soon, (other than the fire place that is)

                      Re: The Bay Watcher

Hi Jax, I love the soft touch you always achieve with you woodburning. Your portrait has a really nice human feel to it. The face and body are composed very well, I do wonder though if the hands and pipe might be a little out of proportion. They look on the small size as compared to the face and body. Please take my critique as constructive and only as my opinion. I really do admire your handling and style of woodburning.

Thanks to all who viewed and commented on the burner....it was done using the pointillism technique.

Mottles.......I agree, the hands should have been a little larger....constructive criticism always welcome, how else could we improve, thank you.

                        Jax.
