          Those are great gifts Merle, and the burnings on them superb. I know the boys will treasure them always. I've burned a lot of those little boxes myself over the years, and they are very popular as gifts for folks. I buy mine from a local building supply store that also has a craft corner, and I do believe they are Basswood. I love the ducks, nice job.
