  • Italian Cavalry Trooper from 1859 and Regimental Crest

I served in the Italian Cavalry Regiment for 17 years. So I did this relief in lime tree wood representing a trooper in the 1859 (year of the birth of the regiment) uniform. Then a wooden vase as a pen/pencil holder with the crest of the Cavalleggeri di Lodi Regiment. Below the motto "Lodi s'immola" (Lodi sacrifices itself).

Very nice Rezbar, I thought you were going to say you served in 1859. Boy , I thought I was old.

If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Very nice carvings. I suspect some of your fellow Calverly men will want one now.
