Wayne and Larry at Deer Creek carved this urn for me. It is really too nice to bury so I am going to keep it in the house with some of Phyllis' ashes and when the time comes my sis will place my ashes in it and bury it.

Here in Hawaii, the Hawaiians celebrate and grieve the death of loved ones for a whole week of events...the urn burial is a very, very sacred two days. Those events I will remember for the rest of my life how death should be done the right way. Your urn made me remember again...friends, family united, people helping people, in sorrow and celebration of their life...what a beautiful blessing.

A spot of sunshine on a gloomy day. Very nice gesture. The key to grieving is to do the things that give you peace and happiness.
