First thing I look at is the topper under the hand. I like what I see.
      Conversation starter.
That loop will be nice when you have to hang the cane somewhere.
I'm already thinking what places I have in my own house for that!

Hi 807, The Pictures don't show the Grain and Colors , maybe now that the Weather is breaking I'll go outside to take the Pictures , maybe that will help . Thanks Again for your Encouragement . Merle

Hi Brian , it is Comfortable under Hand even though I got a little carried away and made the Handle a little small , I think that is one of the reasons my wife likes it . While you are looking around the House to Hang it on a Door Knob would work . Thanks Brian . Merle

If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

The cane man . I think I know but the top wasn't a part of the shaft, to begin with. That walnut real seemed to finish nicely, like the color. If you shot more pictures, some a close up of the detail, please. Good looking cane!

Hi Joe , Yes it is 2 Pieces , I do have a Board that is big enough to make it in 1 Piece , I thought of that after I was putting it together . I went outside and took these Pictures and they are Better . Thanks for your always showing Interest . Merle IMG_0005.JPGIMG_0006.JPG Those 2 Holes are supposed to be Knots in the Wood , not Eyes . Ha,Ha. Those Dark Areas is the Color of the Wood , no Stain .
