Hi Merle, thanks for asking...I am in (stationary) revalidation for my arm and going home tomorrow. Arm is OK yet!! I am very happy. The last 'big' thing I finished was my practiceboard 'letters&numbers'. During these last three weeks I practiced my chipcarving in Christmas-star-ornaments but these have to be stained and are not finished yet. Will post a few on WIP if at home. Next course will be in July. Thanks for asking, many greetings from far away.

Merle, that's a great cane, and the colored pencil work is impressive. Anything special about the pencils, and do you do anything to blend them?

Hi, Arthur, No, nothing Special about the Pencils. I bought them years ago and use them now and then . The only thing I did different was to Seal the Carving with Poly U before using the Pencils . I am not to good with Colors so Blending them isn't an Option for me . I found it is a Nice way to add Color without being to Bright. One thing is when applying a Finish over Colored Pencil Colors is to use Spray , not a Brush. A Brush will wipe the Color off. Thank You for showing Interest. Merle

Merle - are you using wax or oil based color pencils? The results are excellent!

                    Thanks! Mark

The Pencils that I use is ( Multichrome Coloring Pencils) . They say to use them as Oil Pencils. Just used them as a Crayon and Colored the Piece . It gives a Nice Warm . Merle
