J'aime les deux, mais je préfère le chien, plus difficile à rattraper en cas d'erreur. Je pense que tout type de portrait est plus difficile à réaliser, car il est plus facile de voir les erreurs, nous sommes habitués à examiner les animaux et les personnes plus que les motifs.
For the non-francophones , I'll say it in English..
I like both, but I prefer the dog, more difficult to correct in case of any errors.I think any type of portrait is harder to do, because it is easier to spot any mistakes, we are more used to scrutinising animals and people than patterns.
I should probably stick to English ( my first language ) here as it is the language of the vast majority of the members.I made that comment "j'adore, excellent !", as it was the exact thing I and my wife ( Breton / French ) said ( I've been here over 30 years now and think/ speak as much in French as in English :-) ) when we saw your sequence of pictures posted yesterday.The fur is beautifully rendered :-) .

MikeW thank you very much for taking the time to write to me in French. Unfortunately, I do not speak English and this is a great regret for me. I use computer translators, but it's not always good.
It is true that my fear is that its owner will not recognize his dog. But you have to go for it without thinking too much about it. Thanks again
