Carved Snake

Finished carving a snake on a walking cane for a lady in Ohio. The cane has a brass "hame" handle and the snake is painted red, yellow, and black.

I thought I would show a picture of the snake before and after I painted it.

Frank, if you ever leave that cane on somebody's lawn, it will
cause a heart attack as the snake looks so real. You
did a great job, thanks for sharing with us.

Nice snake and a neat technique for the scales. Do you have any problem with scales breaking off ?

Very nicely designed and crafted. Did you do the scales with a rotary tool?
