  • Sale or Trade Area of Forum?

    Hello,

I have several Pfeil and Stubai gouges that I am placing on my local craigslist for sale and was wondering if there is an area on the forum for selling or trading. I don't want to violate any forum rules but, I thought I may have more luck in an area targetting woodcarvers.

Thanks in advance for any info/suggestions,

    Tim

    Tim,

I have had good luck selling and buying tools on eBay.

Are you familiar with the Woodcarvers Tool Trader on Facebook? https://www.facebook.com/groups/3533...vity&ref=notif

        Ed and Eddy,

Thanks for the suggestions. When I posted to craigslist this morning, I chose the option to post to Facebook as well. As luck would have it, I received a reply shortly thereafter and am meeting a gentleman at my local police dept parking lot in a few hours. I have been doing this for my own privacy for years and they are OK with it as there is always an officer on duty and the lot is under surveillance 24/7.

PittsburghTim To answer your original question...there is no sale or trade area here in the forums because of potential liability to Fox Chapel Publishing. The suggestions above are good ones.

Thanks, Claude. That is why I did not just post and hope. I can understand their position. I work at a large facility that used to be a division of Westinghouse. We had a sort of trading post where you could buy, sell, or trade items until someone was accused of selling counterfeit designer purses. They took their dispute to the company and so ended the trading post.
