    Merle, I have scratched my head over this, I did a walking stick, but no cane. I may of mentioned I would like too, I still would, but I've neither started one or raised any.

      Merle, I'm not surprised that the green pine held up like that. I'm still hitting roots with my mower from a huge pine tree I had removed over twenty years ago...they're still as sappy and hard as when they were live.

            Ah, okay, I think you have me confused with toycarver. She was creating a walking stick with a pelican. A very nice one too, I might add!

              Hi, Sappy, Sorry about the Mix Up. My Memory isn't as good as I thought it was. It made for a Good Conversation so Nothing lost . Can't Promise my Memory will get better. Ha,Ha. Merle

                  Hi Claude, It turned out well and is now out in the Daughters Yard. She put it in the Yard the same day she got it . Nice to know it will be Enjoyed. Thanks Claude . Merle
