          Great idea for a really good detail knife.

          What I see in small medical hand tools is all some sort of stainless steel.

          Morakniv #171 Equus farrier's knives are likewise some sort of stainless steel.
          Not too hard to keep carving sharp.

            I did the same thing but put a dogleg in the tang, get for cleaning out those corners, well-done sir

                Nice job. I've both made and been given many a homemade mini detail knife. However, taking nothing away from yours or the many knives I've been fortunate enough to be given the finest mini blade I have is a little Helvi that I won on one of their Facebook live streaming shows.
