    Nice, I like the blade, its got style. That curve in the back side of the blade makes it look like it would be rigid while still getting into tight areas.

    What are the toothpicks for in your glue up picture?

      Thanks. I got the idea from Jeff Baily's Helvie signature knife. His is even sleeker. It's now my go to knife for roughing out and rough details. Things like eyes I use a detail knife. Thanks for the kind words.

          Sorry. It was just to wedge the blade in the exact spot I wanted it when glueing it. The mortise in the wood was slightly bigger than the blade at the top.

                Thickness at the back - a hair under 3/32nds.

                Width in the middle right before it scoops down - 7/16ths. It's 1/16th thick at that point and continues to get thinner to the tip.

                ​​​​​​ I just started making another one of these this morning out of thinner stock.
