I agree with Merle - you really owe him at least a six-pack more... Nice job mounting it!

And here I have a bench vice that came with the bench and I can't use it because Home the only place I have room for it is my den and it's too close to the other furniture, and #2.... and most importantly, the old lady would throw a fit if I started banging away on a chunk of wood with chips flying everywhere! You're a lucky man!

You're a lucky man!Just kidding. I have a vise like that and a Zyliss vice, as well (and a bunch of bench jacks) for my carving bench. My wife complains about sawdust in the house. If I had gotten a shop like I was promised as a condition for the move to this area, I wouldn't be bringing sawdust into the house. Whatever. I wipe my shoes on a mat that takes the sawdust off, before I go back into the house. No-no, child, it wasn't me!

Then as I am putting in push pegs to hold my projects,And tried it out, I found the top of my table wasn't thick enough. So I mounted 2x4s under to drill into. I have not tried that out yet ,,
.Currently other things to do while this right hand gets better.a slow process.
