I am with you , Di! I get the shakes just thinking about it! Although, since I got rid of the 3/16" blade and when back to a 3/8" blade, it is easier to adjust!

Hi you two and anyone that's watching. I called my manufacturer and a conversation w him was a profitable thing. He also sent me instructions that did not match the ones in the book that came with it. SO that's that. If anyone wants a copy I'll post it some where.

Every bandsaw blade needs to be adjusted for drift. Set up your fence square to blade, make a cut 8-10" long you'll notice the cut drifts one way or another. Loosen fence and move the fence until the cut is square. Most bandsaw are a poor design. Some cabinet shops use a point fence- a dowel. I had a Grizzly bandsaw with lennox skip tooth blade, probably 1/2" x 3 tooth. Go here for info https://www.highlandwoodworking.com/...aw-blades.aspx Mark Duginski is the BS guru he might have a better explanation. I could resaw to 1/8 easily-never needed to make thinner veneer, but it is doable.
