Strop Question

[Gulf Coast Handyman]

Does anyone have one of these mini draw knives ? If so is there a trick to stroping it? I found the tool to be very handy in tight areas, but stroping is very difficult so I don't use it much. Any advice would be great !!

I think I resolved my problem, I held the tool in my left hand bevel side up, laid the strop on the blade and gently pushed froward. It seems to work.

I was going to suggest holding the tool steady and moving the strop.
