Two new knives

A couple new mini detail knives I just finished, the blades I ground from O1 bar stock then hardened and triple tempered to my liking. I used Cocobolo for the handles, I just love this wood very beautiful, durable, and smooth.

Nice knives Carl, They look like they will come in very handy. Be careful of the Cocabola, it is one of the very toxic woods.

Thanks for your concern Tom, I already know all about the different harmful exotic woods and their toxicity's/irritants. A benefit of a lot of reading, working on a wood lathe, carving and running a sawmill.

Thanks Ron and Dave, the house is going good I just moments ago finished laying the laminate floor upstairs, time for lunch then some work in the shop, carving/turning and then I will spend the rest of the afternoon in my deer stand. I have a couple other blades to handle and I don't think I will make any more blades for the time being, it wears out my Tormek stone to fast and I haven't saved enough for one of those new black stones, that are supposed to cut better and last longer.
