Grizzley--avialabe in 8" version (T10097) and 10" version (T10010). These seem to be a knock off of the Tormek but with a big cut in price.

I'm trying to lump systems together...those are still wet wheels.

I'll probably generalize and say "Slow speed wet wheels such as the Tormek, Jet, and Grizzly...."

I'm not really going to be evaluating individual tools.

            For bench knives:
            V-rod systems
            Clamp & guide systems
            Edge Pro type systems

For larger chisels & plane irons:
            rolling angle jigs
            edge to heel motion freehand
            shoulder to shoulder motion freehand

                Thanks John,
I was really trying to avoid all of the different jigs and methods to use sharpening stones; there's no way I could cover all of them.

                Ed,
I'd consider the Tomz Massager as one of the Flat sharpening systems (similar to the Worksharp).

Looks pretty complete, Bob. I could not think of any to add.

Great idea for an article Bob! Maybe also an article on stropping compounds. Thank you.

Hey Bob, how about Lynn Sheeley's RAZOR SHARP STROP. This is the orginal (I believe) four sided strop. Side one leather with courser black compound. Side two leather with milder gray compound. Side three plain leather. Side four surgical tape with wax. All sides except last one has a V cut into the leather for stropping the V tool.
