  • Need help identifying a carving knife

I was at the Evart, Mi. carving seminar last summer and I purchased 2 knives from my deep relief carving instructor. He is from New York and these knives have a buffalo stamped on the handle of the knife. They are great knives and I want to purchase a couple more of them. Can anyone tell me what brand they are and where I may purchase them? Any help is always greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim

I have several of them. They are made by Dave Noto who lives outside Buffalo NY. I'll be seeing him at our carving meeting tonight and I'll get you some contact information. I'll PM you later this evening.

Jim, here is a link to a Co. that sells them, STADTLANDER WOODCARVINGS
TreeWizard is correct, they are made by Dave Notto, he calls his Co. Chips knives. I have several of them and you are right, they are awesome knives.
