  • Back Making Tools

Just a quick note to let everyone know that after a long break, I'm back making knives and palm tools again. It feels so good to be back in the shop making sparks and sawdust. I didn't realize that I would miss it so much. In celebration of the prodigal son's return, I've started a sale on all my tools. I invite you to stop by The Old Stump and have a look. The link is in my signature below. Happy carving to you all and thanks to everyone who has expressed an interest in my tools.

We missed you Brandant! Glad to see you're back. I've contracted knife fever while you were away and it's a rare form. Scandinavian knife fever. My temperature is hot enough to forge metal on my forehead. I definitely got the bug.

That sounds like a serious case, my friend. I'm sorry to say that there is no known cure. The smell of grinding metal does help with the symptoms though.

How about that for fast delivery? Ordered on Friday and received on Monday. Gouges look great, too.
