I know, I'm a stick in the mud but I've been through all kinds of gloves sold on the market and the only glove that I've yet to get cut using is the chain mail glove. I've had it more than three years now and I can't tell you how many times it's saved my "stupid butt!"
I have never had a dipped glove last long for the outside work I have done lately...hauling concrete blocks and landscaping stones, so the reviews wouldn't worry me for carving.
If they are as cut proof as advertised, it seems they would be worth the money.
