ar all palm gouges 12 mm? By looking that seems to be the standard but im just wondering if there are other sizes available. p.s. cant find any.

Hi Rick,

The first place I checked was the Flexcut selection at Lee Valley. I saw a 1/8" #11, a 5/16" #6 and a 3/8" #3. They're not all 12mm.

Among the Pfeil palm gouges at Woodcraft, none are 12mm. Most are in the 8mm range.

I bought 4 different sizes of #11s from Drake.

Where, specifically, are you looking?

Because I have never seen just one size width available from a supplier.

Rick, No palm gouges come in all different sizes and sweeps. example I wanted a set of gouges to make circles, think pupils or buttons in different sizes. I selected #9 in 1/16, 1/8 1/4 3/8. I think they were Pfiels. Lar
