As I have learned fast ....in Hawaii we have no snakes....so the animals do not what one looks like, therefore not scared of them. I remember we had a bird issue in one of the large trees that I worked at.....they bought rubber snakes to hang in the trees to scare the birds...next day all the birds...

Got a cobra snake to carve in a longboard surfboard hopefully get it done this coming week....just praying nothing else happens so...

I use stones major......the pink ones, the blue ones, and the white ones. One they do not cut the wood but can be used to for an extra light sanding effect somewhat comparable to a polished effect. You will need to keep those stones clean by using the grinding stone that is for that purpose....

They get major used....one of the main issue is the chuck or collet is going bad and needs to be replaced with a new one. I order mine replacement...

  • A good chef would never ever put a chefs knife into an electrical sharper....as it does not produce a good cutting edge to cut food. Want to ruin a fast cutting perfect edge....stick it into an electrical knife sharping device that will more than likely produce an edge that will need to be reshaped....

I use mini wax with oil paint for dark colors, white colors always water down acrylics, and oil paints mixed with linseed oil for off colors....

Yes with both white and dark colors. It is sealed wiped on and then wiped off fast> I try to go really light as too much means digging out the color. I always apply in layers to the effect I want. You also will need to seal with a note that the color in the cracks will stand out more. I...

Used them and do not like them.....for one they dry up fast and cost too much. PaInt in a tube or bottle can last years.....you can do more with a liner brush. Fine lines are made with wax color pencils, pens and sharpies.....although have to find a finish that does not run.

  • Here in Hawaii, rust can start appearing on tools within a few days.....it was a nightmare to find the right thing. The only thing that really works is putting all tools in plastic boxes that have sealing on the lids .....toolboxes and must be sealed tight from air.. Above is a watertight tackle box...

  • Woodcraft is good only for one thing here....Chisels on sale and good CA.....the wood mark up ....can not sell the item and make a profit. They are the only wood source store, so ordering from the mainland is a more affordable option. And no .....shipping cost here is not reasonable....they do anything...

Can name about five mainland companies that cheat out customers when doing business with them.......if you one of the lucky ones that do not get the rip off treatment then pat yourself on the back. But I find out over time, that I am not the only one that has major complaints and upset. A warning...
