How are the covid shoots doing in your area?
I am in Mobile, We are over 75 my wife and I got our first shot yesterday. Things are slow here but seem to be picking up. Nice looking fish Ed. I have never used Safflower oil. I use the same Tung oil when using a oil finish. Depending on weather and humidity I wait 2 days to a week + between coats of tung oil. Everyone Finds the shape that works best for them. I have made 4 knife handles and used blades from Deepwood Venture. The first one I shaped like the Flexcut knife I was using at the time but made it a bit thicker. Those look like good Brim amd Bass flyies. Not many trout in lower Alabama. There are Speckled trout Mobile Bay and they are fun on a fly rod. Last spring I caught a 7lb bass on a popper much like your large one,with some turkey feathers over the hook....
