Two full 30” shelves. Guessing about a 1/2” average per book. So near 120 over the last 30 years. But there are about 15 to 20 I actually refer to. Quite a few were gifts instead of socks. I also have about 16 dvds I refer to. As I grew in my interest in carving different subjects so did the number...

Found carving almost by accident and from the start it was a refuge. A place where I could and had to focus on the moment. I made some...

Nice Merle. The variation of color really stand out. Your lines are crisp. I always have an issue with scorching along the lines. I know it is to hot of a tip. But I never seem to find the just right setting....

The sad issue is the willingness of younger generations to surrender the developing of skills to make things to the ease of pushing a button. Or maybe my age is showing. I love the feel of a tool in my hand the creation process. For my self I see little satisfaction in scanning an object and printing...

That is great Soggy. Glad it was not what it could have been. It is always a relief when that happens.

I have not used Bear Craft but hear they are a good tool. I started with a Xacto set and moved to Flexcut. I used flexcut palm tools and knives for many years and still use a few of them. I like the feel of handles on the Flexcut and they hold a edge well. The only way to really know is to use a tool....Last edited by Randy; 09-16-2023, 10:31 AM.
