I needed a quick and easy project, so I grabbed some scrap and made these feathers. Fun project, good use of scrap and would make a nice little gift....

Great find. I bought a two cherries knife a few years ago and could never get it carving sharp. I could get it sharp enough to shave with, but it didn't want to cut wood. I wondered if it was SS as it was so difficult to sharpen....

I saw a similar picture of a women pulling a fish on Pinterest. I thought it would be a good one to carve and practice movement on. Thought it would be cute to make it a little girl pulling a big fish, then I thought it would be cool to make the base water and put her on a pier. Hope you like. Thanks...

I do like them for certain things, but I have a hard time with using oil for skin tones. I am happier with how it turned since I sealed it with oil based poly....

This guy is from the latest issue of Woodcarving Illustrated. I really like the style, so I gave it a shot. I added the base and carved dowels for the pilings. Painted with acrylic washes and sealed with oil based poly. Thanks for looking....
